Ed Phillips - Tuba
Having been featured in soundtracks from
Barney’s Great Adventure, Die Hard 3, and 10
things I hate about you Edgar Phillips is a
prominent freelance tubist. Ed has performed
with the American Symphony Orchestra at
Carnage Hall, Seattle Symphony, Pacific
Northwest Ballet, Bellevue Symphony and the
Yakima Symphony.
Greg Powers -
Trombone
Seattle Born Musician, Greg powers, performs
on trombone, tuba, ukulele, didjuridu, garden
hoses, ect. Since his graduation from the
University OF Washington, Greg has been on a
musical journey spanning the Globe. Powers is
a pioneer in adapting Hindustani Music to the
trombone and is the only trombonist on earth
performing in the style of Dhrupad.
David Cole - Brass
Having a BA and Masters of Music from Western
Washington State University Dave is in top
demand as a brass repair specialist and as a
performer. He can be seen performing with the
Village Theatre, Lake Washington Symphony
Orchestra, Orchestra Seattle, Seattle, Choral
Company, Cascadia Brass, and pacific Brass. He is
also the founding member of the Seattle Trumpet
Consort.
Robert Gale - Trumpet
Robert W. Gale has been a full-time brass instructor
and performer for more thavn 20 years. He plays in the
Federal Way symphony, Northwest Sinfonietta, and is a
member of the Seattle Trumpet Consort. He has a
Master’s degree from Western Washington University
and is also the founder of the Pacific Brass Quintent.
Paulette Altman -
French Hornist
A Pennsylvania native with
over 25 years of experience
teaching French Horn Lessons
in the Seattle Area. She is also
the horn coach at Bellevue
Youth Symphony and founded
the Redmond Horn Choir.
Paulette holds music degrees
from Carnegie Mellon
University and University of
Cincinnati College-
Conservatory of Music.
